I've been eyeing to go to Italy ever since taking my high school art history class. Roman and Greek architecture always fascinated me, and what better place to experience it other than in Rome. I dragged my brother all over Italy this summer for a 2-week crazy, non-stop trip. We even got to see a bit of Switzerland and France. We started our trip down south in Rome and headed our way up north to Milan before taking the train to Switzerland to visit our relatives.
Rome does not disappoint; your eyes will never stop ogling at the magnificent art and architecture filled with history. You also won't stop running away from aggressive gypsies who have no shame and will suck your wallet dry if you're not careful. Of our entire trip, we walked the most in Rome; we averaged 10 miles a day in three days wandering the city. Even though our legs were about to fall off by the time we boarded our train, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to go to Italy. You can check out more photos of Rome here!
